    Wild turkeys fly. Trust me on this--I live in rural Pennsylvania and have had a few too many fly out in the road. They don't go very high or far in my experience, but they definitely get off the ground. Now, domestic turkeys (the ones humans raise to eat) I am sure are flightless as they're grown to be ridiculously huge.
