    The Mayan Calendar ended on 12/12/2012. Modern day hysterics have equated this to the end of the world. It's not. It's simply the end of the calendar.

    Its a bit like all the hysteria surrounding Y2K.

    On a side note, my daughter will turn 18 on December 13, 2012. She hopes the hysteria is just that, hysteria, because if it really is the end of the world, she'll never turn 18!
