what is the difference between a pandemonic and epidemic?

    Epidemic: The occurrence in a community or region of cases of an illness, specific health-related behavior, or other health-related events clearly in excess of normal expectancy; the word also is used to describe outbreaks of disease in animals or plants.

    Pandemic: Denoting a disease affecting or attacking the population of an extensive region, country, continent, global; extensively epidemic.
