Just got a call from Apria Healthcare - they do part of the equipment orders for Kaiser and they are shipping out her breathing supplies and gear TODAY!!. It will be at my house tomorrow.
She's coming home, baby. She's coming home. OMG...I have to call the hospital and find out what else is going on...
Woohoo.

Hi. I found you through the stroke talk for young people group on yahoo, which I read but never post on because 1) my whole e-life is on google, and yahoo wont let me post from there and 2) I never can get the phrasing right to communicate what I want in a post.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say, first I'm really glad for you that Sara's going to be able to come home. Second, I'm 21 and had a stroke almost exactly a year ago (July 13), not nearly as bad as Sara's but still, I spent a couple of weeks in the hospital and do tons of therapy, even though almost all my function is back.
I don't know if she'd like to talk to someone else who also had a stroke or if it would just upset her, but I'd like to talk to her if she'd be be ok with it. Please email me at felicia.minchin@google.com if she's interested.
